Marily Vrachnou

Born in Athens, 1990. Education: University of Athens Law School (LL.B., 2013). Admitted to the Athens Bar in 2015. Member: Athens Bar Association Languages: Greek, English, French, German, Spanish. Main Practice Areas: Criminal Law and Litigation, Civil-Family Law, Commercial-Corporate Law, Maritime Law.

Marily’s practice area is mainly oriented towards criminal law as she has participated in a variety of important cases of extradition and white collar crimes as well as narcotics and financial crime matters (fraud, money laundering, tax evasion). She has also obtained significant experience in criminal cases involving minors and handled a number of related civil-family law issues.

She has closely followed and advised in numerus criminal and civil law cases involving local and international clients, companies or individuals, by filing civil suits and criminal complaints, following up the procedure and advising thereof.

Moreover, Marily has previously acquired important knowledge and experience in commercial and corporate law matters, mergers and acquisitions, specified in corporate banking law and has extensive practice in maritime law issues, including the establishment of shipping and shipping related companies under the Greek corporate legislation, due diligence on vessel loans and purchases, vessel arrests and auctions, for both local and international clients.
