Education: Samara State University (Russia), Law School (LL.B., 1998) diploma with honors; University of Minnesota Law School (2011) diploma of a one year program of graduate study and professional development; University of Indianapolis (2013) MA in International Relations, 2013.
While practicing law in Russia, Marina Aristova handled a variety of complex litigations including civil and criminal litigation, and represented public organizations and individuals in all aspects of the Russian judicial system. She developed extensive experience in drafting various legal documents for all transaction types and business lines.
She also had professional experience in the USA as follows: with Dorsey and Whitney LLP, a major law firm headquarted in Minneapolis, MN, where she worked with lawyers who specialize in international trade law; Cargill Inc, a major and internationally known food production company, where she collaborated with employees involved in legal and trade issues; and the American Bar Association, where she worked on ROLI project, which was aimed at helping to establish free legal aid offices in different regions of Russia.
Ms.Marina Aristova holds honorary positions in several international organizations including: Advisor, Athens Insitute for Education and Research; Head of Public Relations, Hellenic-Russian Association of Friendship and Cooperation.
