Lykourezos Law Offices organized with great success the International Conference on “Modern Means of Investment in Real Estate” that was held on the 6th & 7th of June, 2007 at the Grand Bretagne Hotel in Athens.

Prominent participants from Greece and abroad attended the conference and distinguished speakers contributed to the successful presentations of very current matters that are of great interest to the Greek economy.

Current issues on Real Estate investment opportunities have been adequately presented such as the regulatory framework and the philosophy behind Real Estate Investment Trusts and Property Derivatives, the management and development opportunities of the public property through the launch of new leasing methods, namely the sale and lease back mechanism. On the other hand, the investment environment in the sectors of tourism, commercial and logistics centers have also been covered through a detailed presentation of the existing regulatory framework and its pros and cons.
