Alexandros Lykourezos participated as Chairman and speaker at the 2nd Annual PPP Market Forum organized by City & Financial Conferences under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance. He chaired the second day of the Forum and gave a speech on the topic " Legal issues involved in using PPP for waste projects and an overview of the first PPP waste management project in Greece". Alexandros Lykourezos participated in the Greek Business Mission to Lebanon on October 27-29, 2008 organized by the Greek Federation of Enterprises(S.E.V.). The Minister of Development Mr. Christos Folias was in attendance. In Beirut Mr. Lykourezos participated in the Business Forum held at the Premises of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce, and met with Lebanese businessmen looking to invest in Greece and Greek Companies looking to invest in Lebanon.

Alexandros Lykourezos participated in the Greek Government's Mission to Doha - Qatar organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 25-27 October. The Greek Prime Minister Mr. K. Karamanlis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs , Mrs Dora Bakoyannis and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Petros Doukas were all in attendance. In Doha Mr. Lykourezos had the opportunity to meet with businessmen looking to invest in Greece.
